Here at Eau Brink Studio we are Springing into Life with the the arrival of the lambs, chicks and ducklings. The place is absolutely buzzing with bees from the hives starting to build their nests for the foraging season.
The bees are not the only ones buzzing either. We have had Cas Holmes here for two days teaching her fabulous workshop “Small Objects of Desire”. This workshop was over two days where we worked onto and into commercial canvas. The results were stunning as you can see. Everybody enjoyed the workshop and the new techniques we learnt. I particularly loved the idea of working into a canvas using a sewing machine. I will definitely be working this way again and again.
Over at the Barn we also have been busy with the children’s workshops making wands using Powertex. Great fun and messy. I was taken aback though when a two year old wanted to join in. She did do a great job.
The next Workshop at Eau Brink Studio is the 1st of May Experimental Wednesday. If you would like to join us do get in touch and I can explain what we will be working on.
Finding your feet with Pauline Wrighton has only four spaces left so do not leave it too long to book. This exciting workshop will get you using your sewing machine to its full potential.
