The Thing, as in The New System is in. And Working
Hurrah. We have new internet in the studio that is so fast it takes no time at all for things to load. But we will see if it does the job on Tuesday evening at 7pm, When I will be going live to test it.
All being well we will go live on a Tuesday evening and I invite you to suggest techniques you would like to see demonstrated.
Each week before Experimental Wednesday I will be demonstrating one of the techniques we will be covering on the following weeks Wednesday so you get an idea of what we will be up to. The if you fancy attending you have time to book in.
The other thing I need to tell you is that the studio also has a digital phone now so the lines are gone as it all comes through the internet some how. If the router decides to play up we have back up 4g too.
THE NEW PHONE NUMBER IS 01553 611009. And if I am not in the studio it diverts the call after 8 rings to my mobile. How impressive is that? I think I may be a proper business now.
During September there are a few changes due to the huge amount of work I have on and I am going away for a few days.
There will not be any Social Wednesdays during September.
Experimental Wednesday is still on and you can book on the site www.eaubrinkstudio.co.uk/events
The Studio will be closed from Friday 17th to Thursday 23rd September.
Norfolk and Norwich Open Studios takes place from Saturday 25th September to Sunday 10th October. Eau brink studio will be open for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd October and 8th, 9th and 10th October hosting Progression in Textiles work. Refreshments will be on offer and a few items for sales too.
If you need a booklet for open studios then you can get one from Eau Brink Studio or EBS Retail in Long Sutton Emporium. The are on the shelves by the books.
They are free to take.
Also at the moment the Norfolk Makers have their fair in Wymondham Arts Centre for another week so if your in the area or fancy a day out pop in and take a look at tall the goodies in there.
Wymondham is a lovely place to visit for all the family. A little steam train, The Abby and some lovely little shops too.
If your into crafts visit the Big C shop by the station too as it have some great bargains.
So I hope you will tune in on Tuesday when I am live on YouTube. 7pm and you can log in and ask me questions as I am demonstrating. We will go back to the pocket and try that one again.
Once we know we have solved the technical problems we will go back to the challenge of the month .
Oh one more thing. Zena is starting her card making from the 10th September. These are for beginners starting with the basics every other week. Kits are included so you just need to bring yourself. Please do book in rather than just turn up as we are keeping numbers limited.
Thank you all for your patience with the internet issues.
