Experimental Wednesday at Eau Brink Studio is a fabulous day where you can play around with your stitching to create new art works.
We are going to be playing with manipulating fabrics again with a twist.
Exploring what we can do with spray starch to keep the folds in place so a more rigid form of manipulating but with adding colour and texture using the heat press of course. I do have everything you need but if you want to bring your own you will need the following: White or natural colour fabric. Not too thick. A good strong thick thread Sewing machine Spray starch – I have loads of this. Transfer paints, procion dyes and natural dyes – I have restocked the procion with new colours and we can use items from the garden this time. with the rain we will see what comes out of the weeds. Something to take your work home in. if it is wet at the end of the day because you get carried away with this .
Materials are not included , However, for a small charge of £5.00 you can use the studios materials .
