Experimental Wednesday at Eau Brink Studio is a fabulous day where you can play around with your stitching to create new art works.
This week we are working with Markle paint sticks and other artist materials to create a piece to stitch into.
We will be using the oil based paint sticks to create background colour and pattern on fabric ready to sew into.
If you prefer to have an end result in mind that’s okay as well as just seeing where the experience takes you.
This workshop is designed for you to be able to continue to work on a project or start a new one.
You will need for this workshop the following materials:
Markle Paint Sticks or other oil based paint sticks, Inktense sticks, acrylic inks
fabrics – man made or natural they will both work in different ways
rubbing plates, items that can be used to rub over to create pattern, stencils, sequin waste.
Old toothbrush, stencil brush, selection of paint brushes.
If you do not have any of the materials at hand but want to try before you buy you can use the materials at the studio for a small fee of £5.00
