Batik & Print with Jenny O'Leary and Alison Hulme

This is a two-day workshop where you will learn how to create wonderful backgrounds with Jenny on paper and fabric and then print over them with Alison Hulme.

Day one is with Jenny learning how to use hot wax resist on tissue paper, paper, and fabric. Jenny will demonstrate how to use the hot wax in a safe way and will then guide you in creating your backgrounds.

Day two is with Alison demonstrating how to use thermofax screens with paint and fabric medium. You will also use stamps, blocks, and other mark-making items to create your finished work.

Alison and Jenny have both been to Eau Brink studio in the past but never together. 

A materials list will be sent out 4 weeks before the workshop. There will be an extra of £6.00 charge for materials for Alison.

If you need materials you can buy them from Anita's shop (details below) or she can have them ready for you on the day but do give her plenty of notice. If you don't see what you want online she can order items but will need at least 4 weeks to ensure the order arrives in time.

Refreshments are provided including homemade cake and hot and cold drinks. Please remember your lunch.
